Our careers department provides essential help to students looking for vacation or graduate employment. This is acheived through a series of careers events, newsletters, and production of the Monash Engineering Careers Guide.
Events
Summer Vacation, Internships and International Careers Fair
Time: 1 to 4 pm
Date: Thursday 6 August, 2009
Venue: Recreation Hall, Monash Sport (Bldg 1), Clayton campus
A broad range of international as well as Australian organisations with national and international reach are invited in order to:
§ Promote their course-related summer employment and industry experience opportunities,
§ Promote their internship, co-operative year and exchange programs,
§ To showcase their overseas work/travel programs
§ Provide career and industry information and more
§ Meet potential candidates
There may be an opportunity to attend campus interviews with visiting international delegates on Friday 7 August, so have your resumes ready and practice your interview skills now. What better way to head off overseas than with a great job waiting for you when you get there.

Careers Guide
The Monash Engineering Careers Guide is an annual production which comes out at a celebrated event in early March each year.
The guide is widely distributed online, and distributed in paper format to all third, fourth and fifth level engineers at Monash University.
If you'd like to participate in the guide, levels of sponsorship and more information can be obtaibed by mailing the careers team.
